Welcome to the City of St. Peters
Welcome to the beautiful City of St. Peters! We are so happy you have chosen St. Peters as your new hometown. We are very proud of our City and would like to share a few highlights with you.
We have a great quality of life here and we’ve been named one of the top 100 Best Places to Live by Money® Magazine. With 25 parks totaling 1,283 acres, including the new 370 Lakeside Park, outstanding schools, friendly neighborhoods, a thriving arts community and Cultural Arts Centre, award-winning recycling program, world-class St. Peters Rec-Plex and abundant shopping, we are a great place to live, work and play, and we will continue to work hard to keep this one of the top communities in America.
Please take a few minutes to explore our City website. This is where you can find the latest information on everything St. Peters has to offer, including a useful St. Peters business directory listing with a search feature and maps to help you find the products and services you need. You’ll learn about City services and how to sign up for classes at the Rec-Plex, pay your bills online and much, much more. Sign up to get our award-winning UpFront monthly e-news email and watch our local government channel, SPTV (also available on Charter Cable channel 992 and AT&T U-verse Channel 99). For even more information about our City, you’ll receive our My Hometown magazine in the mail several times a year.
We’ve got lots of free and reduced-cost benefits for our residents and you’ll need a Resident Privilege Card for many of them. To get yours, visit City Hall or the Rec-Plex with proof of your residency, such as a driver’s license and utility bill displaying your current address. City Hall is located at One St. Peters Centre Blvd. at City Centre along Mexico Road and the Rec-Plex is located right next door across the parking lot. While you’re visiting City Hall, take a couple of minutes to check out the City’s Cultural Arts Centre located in the west wing of the building.
The Board of Aldermen meet at the St. Peters Justice Center, 1035 Grand Teton (across from Mid Rivers Mall). Meetings are scheduled for the second and fourth Thursday during most months. Work sessions begin at 5 p.m., followed by the official meeting at 7 p.m. Check the online calendar for the latest dates.
The City of St. Peters is divided into four wards, with two aldermen representing each ward on the Board of Aldermen. The Mayor chairs Board meetings and provides stewardship for St. Peters. The Board votes on City policy.
Again, welcome to the City of St. Peters. We hope to see you soon walking or riding your bike on our paved trails (we have 20 miles worth), enjoying one of our fishing ponds, camping at 370 Lakeside Park, or maybe even trying your luck on our 18-hole municipal golf course.
Thank you for choosing St. Peters as your new hometown.
