Parks, Recreation & Arts Advisory Board
The Parks, Recreation and Arts Advisory Board is composed of volunteer residents and operates as a public interface between City residents and City officials to related to parks, recreation, cultural arts, golf, historical, and sustainability activities and programs within the City. This Board also strives to establish a good working relationship with civic organizations and service groups to promote and assist in establishing a balanced park and recreation system that will benefit residents of St. Peters of all ages.
This Board is composed of 11 members, appointed by the mayor with approval of the Board of Aldermen. Members include two members from each of the City's four Wards and three selected at-large. Parks Board members serve two-year terms with anniversary dates of January 31. In addition, there are two youth representatives, each appointed for a one-year term with an anniversary date of February 1.
Regular meetings of the Parks, Recreation & Arts Advisory Board are usually held on the third Tuesday of every other month (January, March, May, July, September and November) at 6 p.m. at the Cultural Arts Centre in St. Peters City Hall, 1 St. Peters Centre Blvd.
FOCUS COMMITTEES: The following focus committees of the Parks, Recreation & Arts Advisory Board meet on an as-needed basis:

(Golf Focus Committee), Alderman Patrick Barclay
(Historical Focus Committee), Alderman Joyce Townsend
(Historical Focus Committee), Alderman Melissa Reimer
(Cultural Arts Focus Committee and Sustainability Focus Committee), and Alderman Gregg Sartorius
(Sustainability Focus Committee) serve as Aldermanic Representatives to the Parks, Recreation & Arts Advisory Board.
