BUILDING REPAIR TECHNICIAN

JOB DESCRIPTION

Performs a wide variety of skilled tasks in the maintenance and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment such as pumps, HVAC, motors, compressors, blowers, gearboxes, belts, small engines, and pressure washers. Repairs and maintains specialized equipment, vehicle and machinery. Orders parts necessary for repair and maintenance. Maintains records of maintenance and repair work. Operates with advanced skill light and heavy equipment as required or assigned.  Operates small hand tools, motorized power equipment, specialized equipment, and electronic test devices. Assists in on-the-job training of employees in regards to safety, use of equipment, and work methods. Repair and maintain plumbing, electrical, and air-conditioning and heating systems. Perform building remodeling and construction. Install equipment. Performs maintenance to indoor/outdoor swimming pools. Reads electrical and building blueprints. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

High School graduate or GED certificate.

One (1) year of applicable experience.

Motor vehicle operator license valid in the state of Missouri.

Must have basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing.

Full-time

Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (occasional holidays and weekends).

This position involves operating solid waste collection trucks to collect multifamily and/or residential trash, recycling, and yard waste.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

MPS/COMMUNICATIONS

FULL-TIME, ROTATING SHIFTS

After completion of training, dispatchers will be allowed to participate in a bid system which will determine which shift and which days off they will receive. Dispatchers work shifts that must provide coverage twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, including weekends and holidays.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Receives incoming calls for service for police, rangers and other emergency and public service agencies. Prioritizes calls and dispatches appropriate response resource(s).  Monitors alarm systems and Teletype communications. Operates Computer Aided Dispatch System for radio and telephone communications, tracking personnel and vehicles. Records all necessary information regarding transmission and activities, according to established departmental requirements and procedures within guidelines specified by the Federal Communications Commission. Enters and updates information in the required computer databases. Researches, obtains and disseminates information utilizing computerized database systems and other data sources. Monitors individuals in holding cells, booking room and sally-port area for proper conduct, safety and medical or other needs using video and audio equipment. Monitors building security by limiting access to entrances. Performs a variety of general clerical support duties related to communications activities. Notifies appropriate authorities or other City departments of situations requiring attention after normal business hours. Reviews and responds to customer/resident inquiries, concerns and complaints. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

JOB DESCRIPTION 

Instruction of classes and private lessons. Includes working with Learn to Skate program and special events. Also, testing of skaters and assisting with competitions and shows.

Must be able to accurately record and maintain records.

Assists with guests; answering questions and concerns.

Administers first aid as needed.

Informs and educates guests of the Rec-Plex policies, procedures and programs.

Prepares equipment, facility and environment in a safe and sanitary condition.

Performs all work in compliance with established City safety standards.

Performs other work as assigned.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must be a U.S. citizen or lawfully authorized alien worker.

Must have previous figure skating coaching experience.

Must be able to maintain Professional Instructors membership with ISI.

Ability to ice skate and choreograph routines.

Ability to lift or move up to fifty (50) pounds.

Must accept delegated responsibilities willingly.

Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays, as required.

Must be able to maintain a positive self-image for the City and Department.

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

ISI judging experience and completion of the ISI Freestyle 7 test or equivalent preferred.

First Aid and CPR/AED Certification.

 

RATES:  Private  $32.00/hr. to $57.00/hr. depending on qualifications and experience.

                Group   $23.00/hr.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Communicates effectively to answer questions and concerns about new or existing procedures.

Performs front desk activities including: cash drawer, answering multiple incoming phone lines and operation of reservation and point of sale software.

Greets guests and explains and enforces campground rules and regulations while maintaining effective public relations.

Performs custodial duties of the grounds including litter pick-up, campsite and shower house clean-up, campground trash, recycling collection and maintains supply inventory.

Observes and reports activities within the campground requiring immediate attention. Assists in park special events and activities.

Operates various equipment related to assigned area.

Performs all work in compliance with established City safety standards.

Performs other work as assigned.

The St. Peters Rec-Plex is looking for Lifeguards who are interested in working part-time. We have immediate openings for all shifts Monday through Friday 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and weekends. Free training available through Ellis and Associates Lifeguard program. Lifeguards are responsible for customer safety and enjoyment while using our aquatic facilities. Salary: $8.20/hr. plus shift premium of 50 cents for daytime hours Monday through Friday 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Labor Day and Memorial Day.
