SAVE A TREE: Shred It & Forget It
Mobile shredders will be available at the spring Shred It & Forget It event for St. Peters and Cottleville residents to securely destroy and recycle unneeded documents for free (limit of five banker-size boxes per vehicle). Additional boxes can be shredded at a charge of $5 per box. Non-residents can also recycle documents for a fee of $5 per box, cash only. All of the shredded material will be recycled including the cardboard boxes if they are not needed back.
Do not bring computer discs or hanging file rods. If you can tear it, then you can shred it using this service. The documents may contain staples or paper clips.
A current Resident Privilege Card must be presented to receive the free service. St. Peters Resident Privilege Cards can be obtained at City Hall, the Rec-Plex and Recycle City.
PLANT A TREE: Annual Tree Giveaway / Celebrate Arbor Day!
