A transportation improvement project is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020, at the intersection of Spencer Road and Premier Parkway.
Drivers should be prepared for intermittent lane closures during construction. Completion is expected in Spring 2021.
Improvements will include additional turn lanes, a median, new traffic signal, drainage improvements, a crosswalk, and a trail connection. New fiber cable also will be installed along Spencer and Premier to improve communications for the area. The project, which is funded by the St. Charles County transportation sales tax, will improve both the operation of the intersection and the capacity to handle increased traffic as Premier 370 Business Park continues to develop.
Drivers are asked to use caution while traveling through this area and to obey traffic signs.
