Last week was the premiere of this year’s Sunset Fridays “On the Road” to You concert series, a historic concert video aimed to keep local music alive and well during the COVID-19 pandemic. This Friday, the concert series continues, with Pete Sigmund bringing some energetic acoustic blues to you!
Pete Sigmund’s performance will air on SPTV at 6:30 p.m. this Friday, May 22. You can tune in to this performance at SPTVnow.net using your phone, tablet, computer, or on cable TV at Charter Spectrum or AT&T U-Verse. That way, you can experience the music while staying safe in the comfort of your home.
The concert was recorded at the Cultural Arts Centre’s Performing Arts Theatre without an audience. Even with social distancing guidelines in place, the City of St. Peters was determined to support local music and give residents the opportunity to relax at the end of the week with local tunes.
“It’s awesome, because it still keeps musicians out there and it keeps the music going,” Pete Sigmund said of Sunset Fridays “On the Road” to You performances.
The pre-recorded concert will stream live at SPTVnow.net, and will air at Charter Spectrum Channel 992 or AT&T U-Verse Channel 99. A Sunset Fridays “On the Road” to You concert will air each Friday at 6:30 p.m. through July 17. You also will be able to view each concert on demand at SPTVnow.net after they air.
Sunset Fridays is presented in partnership with Mid Rivers Newsmagazine and K-WULF 101.7 radio.
