370 Lakeside Park will reopen to the public with limited amenities at approximately 3 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5. The park has been closed since May 3, 2019, due to flooding. The following areas will remain closed until repairs and flood cleanup have been completed: St. Peters Rotary Club Dog Park, water sprayground, archery range, and the east end of the perimeter loop trail. Water equipment rentals will not be available until after Sept. 23; however, fishing permits will be available beginning Sept. 5.
Restoration work will continue in all areas of the park, and guests are being asked to keep clear of areas when work is in progress.
“I want to commend our staff for all of the hard work during the flood recovery,” said Mayor Len Pagano. “They’ve shown amazing dedication and determination to get the park back open for our community and our RV customers.”
370 Lakeside Park is located at 1000 Lakeside Park Drive.
