Time Running Out to Watch a Sunset Fridays Concert: Oh Brother Will Play in Second-To-Last Show of Season

July 30, 2019

The summer season and the Sunset Fridays “On the Road” concert series are approaching their end.

Oh Brother will perform rock music Friday, Aug. 2, 2019, at The Cove at St. Peters. It’s the next-to-last Sunset Fridays concert of the season.

The "On the Road" event Friday will include FREE admission to The Cove Aquatic Center from 6-9 p.m. Food and beverages will be available from the Gator Island Grill starting at 6 p.m.

The remaining concert also will be held at The Cove:

•    Aug. 9: Paul Bonn & The Bluesmen (Blues)

Please note: There will not be admission to The Cove Aquatic Center during the Aug. 9 concert.

We would like everyone to remember to bring their own lawn chair since seating is not provided for “On the Road” concerts at The Cove.

If you’re attending Sunset Fridays this Friday and stay outside The Cove Aquatic Center, you can bring coolers, although glass bottles aren’t allowed. Inside The Cove at St. Peters, coolers, outside alcoholic beverages and glass bottles are all prohibited.

Sunset Fridays is presented in partnership with Mid Rivers Newsmagazine and K-WULF 101.7 Radio.

Sunset Fridays have been “On the Road” due to flooding at 370 Lakeside Park.

The Cove at St. Peters is located across the parking lot from St. Peters Rec-Plex South at 5270 Mexico Road. Enter from Mexico Road at the Rec-Plex and drive past the facility to reach The Cove. The concert area is in the parking lot outside the entrance to The Cove.
