Young people between the ages of 12-18 can determine whether the bright lights of being on stage is up their alley.
St. Peters Performing Arts Studio will hold a Theater Camp from June 10-21 at St. Peters Cultural Arts Centre. The campers will train for the June 20-21 production of “Legally Blonde Jr.” that will be led by acting director Forbes Wood and musical director Ron Jones.
Shows will be at 7 p.m. on June 20, 2019, and 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. June 21, 2019.
Kids will learn all elements of show production, from auditions, stage direction, set props, rehearsals, costumes, script and dance. There is a $230 nonrefundable fee.
Campers will meet each day from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. They must be available for all days, including dress rehearsal. Auditions for the show will be held the first day of camp. They will consist of singing 16 bars from a musical number, a short dance number and an acting reading.
