St. Peters Golf Club expects to reopen golf operations out of a temporary location in March 2019. The facility closed Nov. 5, 2018, to allow for safe demolition of the previous Golf & Banquet Center and construction of a new entrance road from Veterans Memorial Parkway.
Construction of the new Golf & Banquet Center facility is expected to be completed in April.
The timeline to resume golf operations has been affected by weather delays. St. Peters Golf Club could not resume golf operations around the turn of the New Year as previously planned because of an unseasonably wet month in November. The wet weather made it impossible for the contractor to drain a small pond and build a new access road that will connect with Salt Lick Road at Veterans Memorial Parkway.
The access road is now scheduled for completion in late February, if weather permits.
Once the new parking lot is completed, golf operations will resume out of a temporary location. Golf operations will move to the new Golf & Banquet Center facility this spring.
The new Golf & Banquet Center facility will include:
- Water’s Edge Banquet Center, a premier banquet rental facility that will host events for up to 350 people, with banquet options, individual hourly room rentals, multiple bar packages, golf pavilion rental and upgrades.
- A more comfortable clubhouse with a pro shop and golf bar and grill (to be named Caddy’s).
- Beautiful verandas, outdoor dining options and a large deck with lake views.
The Golf & Banquet Center project was approved by St. Peters voters in 2016 with passage of the Proposition Q bond issue. The project replaces a decades-old, high-maintenance facility that recently was demolished.
Water’s Edge Banquet Center is now booking events for October 2019 and beyond for weddings, business meetings, special occasions and more. Learn more ...
