Home Improvement Loans Available for Qualifying St. Peters Residents

The City of St. Peters is currently accepting applications for its Home Improvement Loan Program, which provides funding for low-income homeowners with home rehabilitation project needs. Eligible applicants can receive up to $5,000 through a no-interest, 5-year forgivable loan, for projects such as new windows, furnace & air-conditioners, roof replacement, driveway replacement or repair, and more.

 

You are eligible to participate in this program if you:
  • Are a resident and homeowner in the City limits of St. Peters who has not previously participated in the Urban County or St. Peters Home Improvement Loan Programs.
  • Have lived in the home for at least one year at time of application.
  • Do not exceed household income guidelines established by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

 

The maximum household income must not exceed: $43,050 (1 person); $49,200 (2 people); $55,350 (3 people); $61,450 (4 people), $66,400 (5 people), $71,300 (6 people), $76,200 (7 people), $81,150 (8 people).

You can also request to have an application mailed to you by calling 636-279-8279 and choose option 2. When calling, be sure to spell your name and street address and leave a contact phone number. Applicants may also email their completed applications with required documents to communityprojects@stpetersmo.net.  

 

The City received Community Development Block Grant funds for this program from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Funds will be disbursed based on the lowest income first.
