Honor our nation’s heroes at the City of St. Peters’ annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Nov. 12, 2018. Hosted by the St. Peters Veterans Memorial Commission, the ceremony will begin at approximately 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 12, at the Veterans Memorial adjacent to St. Peters City Hall.
There will be a helicopter landing prior to the ceremony at 9:30 am. Refreshments will be served inside City Hall after the ceremony. This event is free and open to the public.
The featured guest speaker will be retired Lieutenant Colonel Gary Turner, Army Reserves. A former St. Peters Mayor (1978-1992) and current Lake St. Louis alderman, Turner served more than 28 years in the Army Reserves.
In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved inside to the Cultural Arts Centre at St. Peters City Hall. The Veterans Memorial is located at One St. Peters Centre Blvd., St. Peters, MO. For more information on the Veterans Day Ceremony, go online to www.stpetersmo.net
