Kick Off the Holiday Season at St. Peters’ 29th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony Nov. 16

October 16, 2018

Get into the holiday spirit with beautiful holiday lights, musical performances by local groups, photos with Santa Claus and our community’s lighting of the tree—all for FREE at the City of St. Peters’ 29th annual Tree Lighting Ceremony! This year’s event begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at St. Peters City Hall.

Don’t miss holiday-themed musical performances starting with Joshua Barclay on the piano, followed by the kids of The Childbloom Guitar Program of St. Charles County, students from the Fort Zumwalt East High School Orchestra, singers from The St. Peters Choral Society, and a unique a cappella choir, Lindenwood University’s Voices Only. The countdown to the lighting of the tree happens right outside City Hall under the stars following the last musical performance.

Following the ceremony, kids and families can visit and get photos with Santa Claus himself, so don’t forget to bring your wish lists! Abra-Kid-Abra also returns this year, making one-of-a-kind holiday balloons kids can take home for FREE! Tasty treats will also be provided.

St. Peters City Hall is located at One St. Peters Centre Blvd., St. Peters, MO. For more information on the Tree Lighting Ceremony, go online to
