The Rec-Plex and Rec-Plex South have recently undergone an upgrade to the free WiFi service that we provide to our guests. The broader coverage area should allow access to roaming WiFi throughout the facilities.
You should expect to receive a WiFi signal in all seating areas and workout areas in the facilities. WiFi does not extend to some hallways and is not intended for locker rooms.
In order to connect you must first accept the terms on the PTI WiFi Page. If you do not receive that splash page, disable WiFi on your device and go to Settings and Choose PTIWiFi. This will ensure you are connected to our service.
WiFi is limited to 712k per user device and not guaranteed to stream video due to limited bandwidth. Please use your data plan for those needs while visiting our facilities, but the expanded coverage allows for roaming from within the facilities once connected.
We have thoroughly tested this service throughout the Rec-Plex and Rec-Plex South, so if you experience problems, please contact an employee at either facility to help you get connected.
