Witness the awesome restoration and conversion of some of St. Louis’ early 20th century hotels and buildings into first-class landmark hotels on the Historic Hotels of St. Louis Bus Tour with the St. Peters Cultural Arts Centre on Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2018.
Visit the Cheshire Inn and restaurants, Chase Park Plaza, Drury Union Station, Union Station Grand Hall, Drury Plaza, Renaissance and Magnolia (Mayfair) Hotels, then stop by Tower Grove Park to see the ruins of the Lindell Hotel. Finally, enjoy a traditional Italian lunch at Lorenzo’s Trattoria on The Hill, which includes a salad, Chicken Florentine, a side of pasta, cannoli and a beverage.
The bus departs from the west parking lot of St. Peters City Hall, One St. Peters Centre Blvd., at 9 a.m. and returns at approximately 4 p.m. This tour is mostly a walking tour. The cost is $73 and includes transportation, lunch and gratuities.
