City of St. Peters to Host Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony May 28

The St. Peters Veterans Memorial Commission invites you to ceremonies to honor American service members who gave their lives in the line of duty at St. Peters’ Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony. The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, May 28, 2018, at the Veterans Memorial next to St. Peters City Hall. This event is free and open to the public.

 

Rear Adm. Peter J. Clarke, U.S. Navy, is scheduled to be the guest speaker.

 

Other parts of the ceremony include a special laying of a wreath, singing of the National Anthem and representation of the Honor Guard as well as other veterans groups. For more information, CLICK HERE

 

The St. Peters Veterans Memorial is located at One St. Peters Centre Blvd., St. Peters, MO. Limited bleacher seating is available; please bring a lawn chair. The ceremony will be held rain or shine and will be moved indoors in case of inclement weather.
