From bounce houses to games, and snow cones to BBQ, start making plans for your neighborhood party to make a stand against crime on National Night Out from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017. During this time, residents are encouraged to turn their outside lights on and step outside to spend the night with neighbors.
Sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch, the goal of National Night Out is to strengthen neighborhood and law enforcement partnerships to reduce crime. In St. Peters, the Police Department accepts invitations to local block parties to meet with kids and hand out stickers, coloring books and other fun items. McGruff the Crime Dog will make a few special appearances at neighborhood parties as well.
If you’re interested in setting up a block party with a visit from the St. Peters Police Department, contact Officer Melissa Doss at 636-278-2244, ext. 3550.
