US Bank Robbery Suspects Arrested; Charges Issued

 

St. Peters, Mo, February 25, 2015– The suspect responsible for the US Bank robbery at 577 Mid Rivers Mall Drive last week was arrested last night by the St. Peters Criminal Investigations Division. The suspect was fully identified as:

 

Collier, Brendon M

W/M DOB 2/13/77

10000 block of Sheldon Drive

St. Louis, Mo 63137

Unemployed

 

On February 24, 2015 the St. Peters Criminal Investigations Bureau received an anonymous tip providing our detectives with a first name and the possible city the suspect was residing. Through a follow-up investigation with the Riverview Police Department, Riverview City Officials and other area businesses, detectives were able to ascertain the current location and full name of the suspect.

Collier was located in a motel off of Target Drive in North St. Louis County area and was arrested without incident.  Cash was recovered in the motel room in connection with the robbery. During an interview with Mr. Collier, he identified a second suspect in the robbery:

Miller participated in the robbery by providing Collier a ride to and from the robbery sight in exchange for money. A small amount of cash obtained from the robbery was also recovered from his residence.

 

Edwardsville and Fairview Heights, Illinois Police Departments are currently working with their prosecutors and St. Peters Police Detectives for additional charges in their jurisdiction.

Miller and Collier are both being held at St. Charles County Jail for Robbery 2nd with a $50,000 bond, no 10% authorized. More charges through the Illinois jurisdictions are expected.
