Dave Thomas and his family are honored to call St. Peters home since July 2000. Living in Misty Valley Estates, Dave moved his family upon being honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps and having earned his BS Degree in Industrial Management from Missouri State University. Dave worked full-time as a Laborer with United Steel Workers, Teamsters, and with Bank One as a Sales & Service Supervisor during his college days. Upon graduation, Dave moved his family to St. Peters in accepting a position as an Integrated Scheduling Specialist with the Boeing company. After spending a brief time in Leadership Development and having served as a training focal for his functional team, he now works in Project Management as an Integrated Scheduling & Planning Analyst.
In 2002, Dave completed his Master’s Degree in Business Management from Lindenwood University where he also works as an Adjunct Professor teaching outdoor leadership courses under Recreational Administration, in the department of Health Sciences. He is active in his church, supporting an integrated Christian approach to service and community giving. He supports the Boy Scouts of America as an active program supporter and merit badge counselor, being an Eagle Scout recipient (1986), serves as a Stroke and Turn judge with USA Swimming and the St. Peters Sharks Swim Team, and is an Advisory Board member for the USO of Missouri representing both Boeing and the community of St. Peters. Dave is joined by the love of his life, Josie, in working together to proudly raise their family of five valiant children for 20+ years.
Serving the St. Peters residents since April 2007, Alderman Thomas was lastly re-elected in April 2015 to serve as Ward 1 Alderman for a four-year term. He serves as the Aldermanic representative on the City’s Veterans Memorial Commission.
