Introduce your child to America's pastime in a fun, safe environment! Instructional Baseball is about teaching and introducing your child to the game of baseball. We offer T-ball for ages 4 to 6 and Coach Pitch for ages 6 to 9. Each week teams will learn new skills and drills to help them in the sport with the goal of leading to scrimmages towards the end of the program. Each participant in the league receives a T-shirt.
Begins April 2024! Registration for this program closes one week prior to the start of the program or when filled.
Your child will be placed on a team, or you can request to be with a friend or sibling. Schedules and rosters will be posted 1 week before program start date. Each team will rotate, practicing against other teams over the course of six weeks for one hour. Rosters and practice schedules will define what teams play within the designated program time.
The City of St. Peters provides bats, balls, bases, helmets and a batting tee for shared use. Children must bring their own glove. If you choose to bring your own bat, wooden and aluminum bats are acceptable.
Parents are not permitted to drop off their child and leave the premises. Parents must be on the field to participate in helping their child in the program. Any special arrangements or requests must be made in writing at the time of registration.
The program provides four weeks of possible make-up dates. To find out if a game has been canceled/postponed, you must call Rainout Line at 636-747-0009 ext. 13 (T-Ball) or ext. 14 (Coach Pitch).
