We have fitness programs for kids and teens of all ages, from 6 months old to 17 years of age! Click the tabs below for more information on the following program categories

Toddler Jam
Ages 18 months to 4 years
Bring your toddler and lets boogie, jump, twist and spin while dancing and having fun. Fitness instructor will be making fun dance routines for your toddler to boogie and jam to some music. Class is 30 minutes and parents must accompany their child to each class.
Weekend Warriors
Ages 6 to 11
Learn teamwork skills, problem solve through exercise, and make new friends!
Relay Races
Ages 7 to 9
This 30-minute class is all about having fun while doing fitness exercises in a relay race or an obstacle course!
Youth Strength Training
Ages 8 to 13
This program will introduce your child to the fundamentals of working out. Workouts will include a variety of exercise routines including cardio, circuit training, strength training, and stretching. The 60-minute class will use different areas of the weight room, cardio room, and aerobics rooms and utilizing cardio machines, body weight exercises, and some weight room machines.
Youth Fitness Permit
Ages 12 to 15
Participants ages 12 to 15 can gain access to the Rec-Plex weight room, track, and cardio room by completing this class. A fitness professional will instruct you in a general overview of our workout areas while stressing proper form, use of equipment, and gym etiquette. The class will cover some workout scenarios, but individualized workout plans should be designed in a follow-up one-on-one personal training session. Attendance at both classes is required.
TeenFit is a strength and conditioning class for teenagers ages 13 to 16 who want to improve their athletic performance or stay in shape. Whether you play a sport or not, TeenFit is designed for all teenagers. In in this class, you will learn stretches to improve your flexibility, cardio to enhance your cardiovascular and weightlifting to grow your muscle strength.
A cycle ride, with a party vibe!
Teens ages 13 to 16 will be introduced to cardio on a bike where they will safely burn calories while listening to a mixture today’s hip hop and DJ hits! In this 45-minute class, we will teach the teens various types of rides and terrains as well as all hand positioning, ideal lower-body positioning, resistance, and cadence (RPM) training and anything you might expect in a regular group cycling class. We know teens want to workout out with friends, so spread the word for a fun teen cardio experience!
All riders must be at least 4'10" tall.
