Aqua Aerobics
Aqua aerobics is an excellent way to maintain fitness without the stress to your joints that land-based exercise can produce. Each Rec-Plex class consists of stretching, aerobic exercise, muscle strengthening and a cool-down period.

- Members can register on April 1 online at 6 am and in-person at 9 am

Class Offerings
Teen Aqua Fitness
This program is designed for those age 11 to 16, at any fitness level. The water provides lots of resistance and allows the body to work different muscle groups. This program is a great resource for endurance, flexibility, strength training and cardiovascular fitness. It is highly recommended that all participants wear some type of aqua shoe or other shoe that is comfortable in the water to protect your feet while exercising.
Warm Water Aqua Aerobics
This class is designed to integrate strength, stretching, balance, and cardio exercises at a slower pace in the warm water leisure pool. Various sizes of noodles, gloves, and bands are utilized. Class is designed to improve joint flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, and movement. Participants determine their own level of exercise intensity and ability. While not required, it is highly recommended that all participants wear some type of aqua shoe or other shoe that is comfortable in the water to protect your feet while exercising.
H20 Fitness
H2O Fitness (formerly Aqua Aerobics 4-Everyone) is a great choice for beginners and advanced aqua aerobic participants alike! This class features in-water cardio and resistance exercises and provided modification, as needed. While not required, it is highly recommended that all participants wear some type of aqua shoe or other shoe that is comfortable in the water to protect your feet while exercising.
Aqua Cardio Combo
This class is an excellent choice for all levels, encompassing all facets of aqua aerobics - everything from beginning to advanced. With a focus on cardio movements that will elevate your heart rate, the water will provide an ideal amount of resistance and low impact on the body. While not required, it is highly recommended that all participants wear some type of aqua shoe or other shoe that is comfortable in the water to protect your feet while exercising.
Morning Deep Water
This class will benefit individuals who are comfortable in the water whether beginner or advanced. With the assistance of a flotation device, this class gives a total body workout, while strengthening core muscles. Class takes place in 8+ deep water.
Advanced Deep Water
Advanced Deep Water is a total body workout and a great muscle recovery exercise. This advanced class will benefit individuals who are seeking a level up in high impact intensity in a non-weight bearing form of exercise. It is ideal for those who want that extra edge of full body resistance, strength training, performance enhancement, flexibility and fitness maintenance for the body. With the assistance of a flotation device this Advance Deep Water class is for YOU. Class takes place in 8+ deep water.
Advanced Aqua Aerobics
Advanced Aqua Aerobics offers a pace geared for a more strenuous cardiovascular workout and strength training geared toward specific muscle groups. It is highly recommended that all participants wear some type of aqua shoe or other shoe that is comfortable in the water to protect your feet while exercising.
