Veterans Memorial South

Located at the corner of Willott Road and Jungermann Road.

Dedicated on November 8, 2008, this site compliments the veterans memorial at City Centre in remembering the veterans of Korea and Vietnam.

Korean War Monument

A 4-foot wide, 3 and one-half-foot tall monument honors veterans of the Korean conflict. The monument includes inscribed insignia from the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, and the U.S. Coast Guard.

The monument was originally placed on a piece of land outside the St. Peters Police Department where it remained from June 2004 to November 2008. The monument was paid for by the Korean War Veteran's Association of St. Charles County Chapter 6.

Vietnam Monument

St. Peters resident and Vietnam veteran Glen Rappold built the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in his backyard in Sunny Hill Estates several years ago. Included are over 1,000 bricks listing Missouri residents who died in Vietnam. Mr. Rappold donated this monument and all of the engraved bricks to the City of St. Peters. We’d like to thank Mr. Rappold for this wonderful donation.
