Parks, Recreation & Arts
The City of St. Peters is committed to providing quality parks, recreation and arts. The 236,000-square-foot St. Peters Rec-Plex offers a wide variety of recreational opportunities for our community, from swimming to ice skating to fitness programming.
St. Peters' Cultural Arts Centre opens its doors to everyone–young children through seniors–interested in discovering the arts.
St. Peters has 25 parks and 1,227.9 acres of parkland, offering a wide variety of outdoor amenities, including pavilions and picnic shelters, athletic fields, 27+ miles of paved trails, outdoor pools, archery range, BMX track, fishing ponds, the beautiful Water's Edge Banquet Center and Golf Club with an 18-hole course, along with two veterans memorial sites. RV campsites are available at 370 Lakeside Park.
St. Peters parks are patrolled by a professional Ranger Enforcement Division. St. Peters Rangers are certified commissioned Missouri law enforcement officers and are held to the same training standards and qualifications as other police officers.
You may register for many St. Peters park, recreation and arts programs online using Rec-Connect.
To check the rental availability of athletic fields, pavilions, gazebos, party rooms and pools, please go to the Rec-Connect Reservations page.
The City of St. Peters Parks Department maintains thousands of trees and other plants in City Parks, along right-of-way, and on other City-owned property. In addition to horticulture maintenance, Parks staff also enforces the City's Tree and Landscape Ordinance.
Parks in St. Peters are open from sunrise to sunset, unless otherwise specified on a Park Use Permit.
