Amenities


  • Located on 140-acre lake near popular destinations 30 minutes west of St. Louis.
  • 50 gravel full-service RV sites.
  • Pull-through (35' X 71' minimum) and back-in (35' X 61' minimum) pads with 20/30/50 amp service.
  • Picnic tables on concrete pads, and fire rings.
  • Clean comfort station with restrooms, showers and laundry.
  • Primitive tent sites available.
  • Pets welcome. Must be leashed.
  • Paved roads.
  • Convenience store at RV/Ranger check-in station.

*All persons fishing or launching watercraft must check in at the RV/Ranger Station before accessing the water. Nominal fishing and lake usage fees apply beginning Oct. 1, 2011. The lake is closed to boating and fishing during winter (Dec. 1, 2011-Feb. 29, 2012).

RV SITES include up to six people, one wheeled sleeping unit and one tent. Cost for additional guests is $2 per person/per day: twelve people maximum per site. Additional tent is $10 per day. Maximum of two tents per site.


RV Sites: rotomill (gravel) is 15' wide with a minimum of 15' of grass area next to the rotomil. Pull through drives are 65’ long.

 

CAMPING SITES include up to six people, and two sleeping units, only one of which may be wheeled. Cost for additional guests is $2 per person/per day: twelve people maximum per site. Additional tent is $10 per day.

RESERVATION POLICY

RV/Tent Sites & Primitive Camping

 

When making a reservation, the reservation SHOULD be paid in full by MasterCard, Visa or Discover.

 

We cannot GUARANTEE a reservation without a minimum payment equivalent to one night’s stay.

 

If a guest cannot pay in full, the minimum due to guarantee the reservation is the equivalent of one night's stay, leaving the balance due upon arrival.

 

If a guest doesn't have a credit card, we must receive the paid-in-full amount or the equivalent of one night’s stay via mail in the form of a traveler’s check, money order or cashier’s check within 5 business days of booking the reservation. If not received, the reservation will be cancelled.

If a guest cannot make a payment, we cannot guarantee the reservation. The sites will be on a first come/first serve basis upon arrival.

 

If for some reason a guest’s travel plans change and the guest is unable to keep the reservation, the guest can reschedule the reservation based on availability for no additional fee, or cancel the reservation and our cancellation policy will apply.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

 

If canceled 30 or more days out from the check-in date:

- the guest can reschedule the reservation for another date, based on availability for no additional charge, OR

- the guest will receive a refund of the amount prepaid less a processing fee of $7.50.

 

If canceled less than 30 days out from the check-in date:

- the guest can reschedule the reservation for another date, based on availability for no additional charge, OR

- a cancellation fee equivalent to one night’s stay will be charged, and the balance will be refunded.
