Recycle With Blue Bags and Win!
Everyone wins when you recycle and in St. Peters residents have the opportunity to win exciting prizes simply by recycling products in the convenient Blue Bags provided by the City.
With the spring and fall delivery of Blue Bags each year, St. Peters residents will receive a postage-paid “promise” postcard. When you promise to recycle and use the blue recycling bags provided by the City only for recycling, you’ll be automatically entered in the monthly and grand prize drawings.
Two winners will be drawn each month from the promise postcards. Each monthly winner will receive a prize package set to a value of at least $50. Monthly prizes may include gift cards to local restaurants, Mid Rivers Mall, other retail and service establishments, entertainment, etc.
At the November 2011 Board of Aldermen meeting, one winner from each ward will be selected for grand prize packages valued at $100 or more.
Blue recycling bags are delivered twice a year. If you run low on your supply of blue bags before the next delivery, simply tie an empty blue bag to the handle of your trash cart as a signal to the driver to leave you a new roll. Blue bags are also available at Recycle City and City Hall.
