FOX 2 News Morning Shows Coming to Rec-Plex on Friday, Feb. 1
January 31, 2013
You may notice a lot of activity around the St. Peters Rec-Plex starting very early Friday morning. We're welcoming the FOX 2 morning news team to the St. Peters Rec-Plex this Friday, Feb. 1 and FOX 2 is inviting their viewers to come and watch the live broadcasts from 5 a.m. - 10 a.m. As a special thank-you, FOX 2 viewers who visit the Rec-Plex to watch the live broadcast will receive a free, one-day family pass to the Rec-Plex.
FOX 2 will air parts of its morning broadcast from the Rec-Plex beginning at 5 a.m. with traffic reports until just before 7 a.m. News and weather personalities will file a number of reports from the Rec-Plex, including topics about the St. Peters, area businesses, our award-winning recycling program and the "Home of the Champions," the St. Peters Rec-Plex. The Ft. Zumwalt East marching band will also have a special welcome for them in the 6:30-7:05 a.m. time frame. After the morning news show, Tim Ezell will test out his skills against Air Force recruits in the swimming pool in the 9 a.m. hour.
You're invited to come watch these broadcasts live in the natatorium pool area during the Fox 2 News broadcast Friday morning. Bring friends and family if they're available! The prime viewing area will be in the natatorium at the Rec-Plex. There's no charge to attend. We're looking for a spirited crowd to represent St. Peters, sort of like "College Game Day" on ESPN! Please forward this message to friends you think might be interested.
