Explore World Religions on this Day Trip

Join us on Friday, March 8, as we will explore the religions of many different groups of people in our region.
We’ll learn about Hindu beliefs and customs when we tour the new Hindu Temple of
St. Louis. Next we’ll visit the St. Louis Abbey/St. Alselm Church.
Enjoy a buffet lunch of delicious Greek delicacies prepared by members of the congregation at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church. After lunch, we’ll tour the Assumption Church sanctuary and view the gorgeous new iconography.
Next we’ll travel to Temple Israel, where we’ll view the 3000-lb. sanctuary sculpture depicting events in the Book of Exodus and learn about Reform Jewish traditions and worship services.
The last stop will be the Daar ul Islam Mosque where we’ll learn about Islamic worship and customs.
The cost per person is $75 and includes motorcoach transportation and admission to the scheduled activities. The bus departs from and returns to the west parking lot of St. Peters City Hall, One St. Peters Centre Blvd.
